The plan is designed and adjusted according to the client’s daily choices, behaviors and needs.

The foundation for the Sober Success Life Plan are the 7 Dimensions of Wellness: Social, Spiritual, Occupational, Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Financial.

The Sober Success Life Plan that our Recovery Coaches use taps into a client’s strengths, minimizes weaknesses, and helps a client abstain from active addictive and/or codependent behaviors.

The Sober Success Life Plan, as well as the Recovery Coaching contract itself, is a collaborative and client-centered plan.

​At Recovery Solution we believe the client knows best what has or hasn’t worked in their lives and recovery coaching helps to guide this knowledge into success and provide accountability to ensure follow-through.

What do  Recovery  Coaches do?

Recovery Coaching is based on Seven Dimensions of Wellness.

​Recovery happens on a continuum. It is not an event that happens, but a lifelong journey to health and well-being.


Our Recovery Coaches help clients gravitate more consistently toward choices and behaviors that bring desirable rewards.


Recovery Coaches also hold clients accountable to the undesirable consequences that poor choices and behaviors create.

Clients with a Recovery Solution Recovery Coach can expect to witness real improvement in their lives as they begin to realize their short and long-term goals.


Our Recovery Coaches are skilled communicators and can convey practical guidance to the client in the one-on-one setting that helps the client improve their own communication skills.


As they learn new communication skills they are then equipped to take responsibility for the relationships in their lives.


As a result, families, loved ones, co-workers and friends become beneficiaries of Recovery Coaching as well.

Although several of our Recovery Coaches are also Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors or Addiction Therapists, they do not act as a client’s therapist.


There is little emphasis on the past or related traumas and they do not diagnose or treat addiction or mental health issues. Rather, recovery coaching focuses attention on the client’s strengths, dreams, objectives, and the choices they make and actions they take each day.

The Recovery Coach provides their expertise, guidance, skills, and own success in recovery to help define and support the steps defined in the Sober Success Life Plan.


This dynamic between client and Recovery Coach is what sows the seeds to enact powerful change that leads to successful day-to-day living.

No single gene, or small group of genes is responsible for endowing a person with exceptional potential in a specific area. The genetically generated conclusion of such ability, a computer allocated genetic amalgam, is based on a large number of input sites. For instance while two gene variants ACE/ID and ACTN3 R577X have been consistently associated with endurance (ACE1/1) and power related (ACTN3 R/R) performance, neither functions in isolation. A large amount of genetic input from such areas as cardiac function, respiratory function, musculoskeletal structure, motivational factors and about another 20 other variants form the genetic amalgam associated with the an elite athletic status, contribute to the determination. 
The heritability of a trait is generally considered an estimation of the importance of genetic factors to that trait. As an example the heritability of athletic status (regardless of sport) is estimated at 59%. The balance is subject to environmental factors such as training, diet, lifestyle etc. 
The allocation of multiple factors associated with any particular trait is complex and problematic. A mix of genetic sites and their proportional allocation is constantly modified as our knowledge of the subject hopefully progresses. For instance, consider the genetic amalgam that contribute to general cognitive ability (intelligence). 
Intelligence is one of the most highly heritable behavioural dimensions there being many quantitative trait Loci(qtl) responsible for the substantial heritability and functional allocation of this quantitative trait. QTL uses an allelic association strategy based on DNA markers that are relevant to neural function. 
Advantageous genetic predisposition as stated are vulnerable to a vast number of socio-economic factors, family and peer pressure or disinterest, economic circumstances, the lure of multiple distractions, opportunity, instant gratification, motivation, education, and the overriding factors called luck and necessity.
