Family Coaching and Family Support Services.

We have Peer Support Specialists who are parents of current and former individuals with Substance Use Disorders such as addiction and alcoholism.  These Peer Support Specialists specialize in working with parents, spouses, siblings, and children of individuals in addiction and Recovery from addiction.  They are our Recovery Solution Family Coaches.  Our Family Coaches are here to help family members understand the thoughts and behaviors of those in addiction and addiction recovery and also offer support and resources.

Connect Families with Resources

Our Family Coaches connect families with resources such as therapists, support groups, and events with other family members of active and recovering addicts.  They outline the differences between the different support groups, compare and contrast, and help you find the right one for you based on your needs and preferences.  They know that all support groups are not the same.  They are made up of different people and types of people and thus have different group cultures.  Our Family Specialists help you navigate to find one that best fits you and fulfills your needs.

Offer Insight into Thoughts and Behaviors

Our Family Coaches have years of experiential knowledge in addition to formal training and can help parents, spouses, and other loved ones understand the thoughts and behaviors of their loved one in recovery or active addiction.  They can offer tips to best dealing with them that are conducive to helping them without sacrificing your own well-being.

Mediation

Family coaches help to mediate between family members in addiction or recovery and their loved ones such as parents, children, spouses, siblings, and significant others.  Our compassionate, understanding, Peer Support Specialists that specialize in working with family members have been there through the struggle with their own family members and have both experiential knowledge and formal training that help them to help you.

Escort and Introduce Family Members

Our Family Coaches escort parents, spouses, and other family members to support groups and meetings such as Families Anonymous, SMART recovery, Recovering Couple Anonymous and more.  They can introduce you to other people in similar situations.
